Photos (only when you choose to upload): Snap-a-meal photos, Snap-my-fridge photos (sent to Google for ingredient detection), and finished-dish photos (stored in our private bucket and shown alongside your ratings/comments). The app never accesses your camera or library without an explicit tap.

Microphone (only when you turn on Voice Cook Mode): Speech is processed by your device's built-in speech recognition (browser/OS-level) for commands like "next" or "start timer." We do not record or store audio.

Community Content: Ratings, comments, and dish photos you post are visible to other users alongside your display name.

Payment Information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.

• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send you email confirmations and dinner reminders (if enabled)

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication and database (stores your account and preferences)
• Google Gemini AI — Generates meal plans (receives your preferences, not your email)
• Stripe — Processes payments
• Vercel — Hosts the website

Your data is protected with industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed and salted. We use Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data.
